For example, you can make onion tea, which, in addition to its antioxidant effects, will help with respiratory problems that people suffer from especially at this time of year.

How to do it? Let half a liter of water boil, add a smaller peeled onion, cut it into halves and let it boil for 5 minutes. At the end, sprinkle some marjoram, cover and infuse for 15 minutes. Drink tea in sips.

Another significant and available antioxidant at this time of year are red apples, with one apple per day recommended. In addition to being classified as antioxidants, apples also boast a significant content of vitamin C, but they are also rich in minerals that the body needs for its functioning, such as potassium, silicon, magnesium and iron. Pectin is also very valuable, it is a substance contained in apples.

Among the available antioxidants is leek. In addition, the tasty vegetable serves as a source of vitamin E, carotenes, iron, and raw contains folic acid, vitamin C and B1. In addition, it acts against bloating and the feeling of fullness. In addition to eating raw leeks, you can also make a leek decoction. How to do it? Simply boil 8-10 leeks in 2-3 liters of water for about one hour.

And at this time of the year, don’t forget the cabbage either. Not only is it a strong antioxidant, it is also a rich source of vitamin C, provitamin A (beta-carotene) and vitamins E and K. Raw cabbage is a storehouse of folic acid, which is actually vitamin B9. Pregnant women especially have an increased need for this vitamin.
