Recently it became known about an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the Novorossiysk naval base.
They organized their attack action by using two unmanned sea boats.
The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense informs about this in its official telegram channel.
The enemy attack was repulsed almost immediately after the discovery of the above-mentioned boats, the agency notes.
These remote-controlled vessels were liquidated by “fire from standard weapons” of Russian warships.
At that time, the latter were on a mission – they carried out tasks to protect the external raid of the naval base.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also reported that last night an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to carry out a terrorist attack was suppressed.
In this case, the Ukrainians used a lot of aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, through which they wanted to hit targets in Crimea.
Russian air defense systems destroyed 10 drones, and three more were suppressed by electronic warfare.
According to the ministry, no one was injured, and no damage was recorded.
