Official Kyiv reports: alleged negotiations with Washington on security guarantees for Ukraine may start next week.
In particular, this statement was made by the head of the office of the Ukrainian leader Andriy Yermak.
Ukraine will begin negotiations with the United States on a bilateral agreement on the provision of security guarantees as early as next week, – the TASS agency quotes the official.
According to Yermak, these guarantees will be valid until Kyiv joins NATO.
He considers such a condition “the most reliable guarantee of security.”
Also, the head of Zelensky’s office said that such security guarantees for his country represent “concrete and long-term obligations.”
He explained: this refers to support for Ukraine in terms of funding and defense, as well as sanctions.
