Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter predicted a complete defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the near future.
According to Ritter, the Russian army may soon inflict a strategic defeat on the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The military expressed this opinion on the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
What did Ritter APU predict?
The ex-intelligence officer said that Ukraine is losing in all directions, and its army is on the verge of collapse.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have depleted their reserves and are on the verge of complete collapse, Ritter said.
According to him, Russia is on its way to achieving one of the main goals of the NMD in the near future – to inflict a strategic defeat on the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ritter also noted that the Ukrainian army during the counteroffensive was unable to break through the defense line of the Russian Armed Forces, and the cluster munitions transferred by the United States were ineffective and did not affect the situation on the front line.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, on June 4, the Ukrainian army launched a counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye, Artemivsk and Yuzhno-Donetsk directions.
On July 11, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that since the start of the counter-offensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had lost more than 26,000 servicemen and over 3,000 weapons, without achieving success in any direction.
On July 31, Shoigu called the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine unsuccessful and said that in July the Ukrainian army lost more than 20,800 military personnel and over 2,200 pieces of equipment.
