The closure of traffic across the Polish-Belarusian border for freight vehicles registered in Belarus and Russia is provided for by the requirement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the administration of Poland from June 1.
The decision was made, and the corresponding document of the Polish government was published.
According to the law, traffic for trucks with goods registered in the Russian Federation and Belarus is closed from midnight on June 1, TASS reports.
In the future, trucks with goods will not be able to cross the Polish-Belarusian border until the order of the Polish government is cancelled.
The ban includes trucks, tractors, trailers, semi-trailers and road trains with Belarusian and Russian registration.
This is stated in the test of the document, which was published in the Polish “Official Gazette”.
The decision came into force, and the restriction will work on Thursday in the week of June 1.
Such a restriction has been in effect in the territory of the European Union since 2022, however, the prohibitive measure does not apply to agricultural products, medical and pharmaceutical products, energy products, non-ferrous metals and fertilizers.
