Unusual biscuit impregnation: turn a dry cake into an appetizing and fragrant cake

To prepare an amazingly delicious dessert, it is not enough to cut the biscuit into several pieces and grease with cream.

The main detail that gives zest to any biscuit baking is impregnation.

Unusual baking syrup can be prepared on the basis of Cahors.

For this you will need the following ingredients:

  • 250 g sugar;
  • 250 ml of water;
  • 2 tbsp. l. Cahors;
  • 1 tsp lemon juice;
  • a pinch of vanilla.

Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour sugar into the boiling liquid and stir until it is completely dissolved.

Wait again until the future syrup boils, and add Cahors, vanillin and lemon juice.

The finished syrup should be cooled before use, after which the cakes can be soaked.

Everyone can try a cake with such impregnation, without exception – during the preparation process, alcohol evaporates, and only a spicy aroma remains from the wine.
