1. Sugar and sweeteners

Doctors and other specialists consider sugar to be one of the main “enemies” of mankind. Humans consume it in huge quantities because it is added to most industrially prepared foods. Sugar and popular sweeteners such as corn or maple syrup contain more than half the fructose.

Many studies have confirmed that fructose promotes inflammation in the cellular structures that make up the endothelium. Fructose also blocks the work of acids that inhibit inflammatory processes. There is especially a lot of fructose in breakfast cereals, milk chocolate, sweet lemonades and pastries.

4. Vegetable oils

Many refined types of vegetable oils undergo industrial processing, which results in them losing their healthy balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which increases the risk of inflammation.

The oil is obtained by pressing crushed plant seeds or fruits by the cold pressing method, when the crushed raw material is pressed at a temperature of +60⁰ C (up to +90⁰ C), or by the hot pressing method, when the crushed raw material is pressed at a temperature of +100⁰ C and higher. It is recommended to use vegetable oils that are cold-pressed.

They are made using hydrogen added to unsaturated vegetable fats that make them different. They cause the slowing down of C-reactive protein, which facilitates the inflammatory process, and reduces the content of “good” cholesterol, which protects the heart and blood vessels. Food with such fats harms the heart and causes inflammation in the body.

Trans fats are found in french fries and other fast food restaurant products that are fried. They are also found in popcorn, pastries, margarine and other products.

6. Processed carbohydrates

These foods have a high glycemic index, which means they raise blood sugar very quickly. This, in turn, supports the growth of intestinal microorganisms, which increase the concentration of toxins. Natural immunity triggers inflammatory responses to suppress their activities.

7. Alcohol
