By the way, this car will be sold to America under the abbreviated name – Land Cruiser.
Judging by the design, the novelty differs from its predecessors in the model range by more angular shapes and, according to Gazeta.Ru, is somewhat similar to the Ford Bronco and Land Rover Defender.
The company will offer the new Land Cruiser Prado in three versions: base (called “1958”), medium and top (First Edition).
If in the middle version rectangular headlights are used, then in the base and top ones they are round.
Of the technical characteristics, a 2.4-liter turbo engine with 4 cylinders with a capacity of 330 “horses” attracts attention.
It is noted that the all-wheel drive car has a classic automatic transmission (8 steps).
Toyota plans to start selling new items next spring. The estimated cost is about $55,000.
