Almost a year has passed since the beloved singer Yuriy Shatunov passed away. His death was a real tragedy for millions of fans who still come to his grave at the Troyekurovsky cemetery.
Shatunov was born on September 6, 1973 in the city of Kumertau, Bashkiria ASSR. His father, Vasily Vladimirovich Klimenko, was half Russian and half Ukrainian.
He was abandoned by his father at the age of 3 and was then raised by his mother. When he was 11 years old, his mother passed away from heart disease. He went to live with his aunt and maternal grandparents, who soon became unable to cope with his behavior.
Shatunov was sent to Orenburg Orphanage No. 2 in Orenburg, where he had a reputation for bad behavior. This included running away from the orphanage, playing guitar, singing in the street to get money and cigarettes, getting into fights and avoiding work. However, over the years he was able to find his way in life.
