Nokia is pushing another German smartphone maker out of the German market

Vivo, like Oppo, OnePlus and Samsung, has closed its official websites and stopped selling phones in Germany due to a lawsuit by Nokia. GSMArena drew attention to this.
Nokia is pushing another German smartphone maker out of the German market

In April, a court ruled in favor of Nokia, whose patents were infringed by Vivo. Previously, for exactly the same reason, Oppo, OnePlus and two other BBK sub-brands were also forced to temporarily stop sales in the German market. Vivo has shut down its official website without warning. This made it impossible for Germans to purchase smartphones from this company. The Vivo website indicates that the purchase of products of this brand is currently unavailable. However, smartphone users can still contact service centers and receive updates.

Vivo reportedly agreed to meet with Nokia to resolve the dispute, but no deal has been reached between the two companies.

Earlier, Gazeta.Ru reported that Oppo lost two cases of patent infringement, which led to a ban on sales of the company’s smartphones in Germany.
